How we ship
We ship throughout the United States and internationally and work with freight and parcel carriers to find workable options. The best method depends on what you buy and where it is going.
- Parcel or courier: cases and small shipments through carriers such as FedEx or UPS
- LTL freight: palletized goods that do not need a full truck
- Full truckload: larger orders and full trailers
- International freight: air freight or ocean containers when arranged
- Your own carrier: collect with your truck or carrier
Goods may be packed in cases, bins, gaylords or on pallets, depending on the products and program.
What determines the cost
- Origin and destination of the shipment
- Order size and weight
- Type of merchandise
- Delivery location, residential or commercial, and extras such as liftgate
- Shipping method
For parcel and LTL, these factors are combined to set the freight price. Truckload and container pricing depends mainly on route, equipment and current transportation rates, within capacity. A truck is typically capped near 40,000 lb of cargo and a 40-foot ocean container near 60,000 lb, which can vary with equipment.
Processing and transit times
We aim to release paid orders quickly, and many ship within 24 hours of payment. Same-day release is possible when circumstances allow.
- Domestic U.S.: usually 1 to 7 business days after shipment
- International air: about 5 to 15 business days
- Ocean container: about 15 to 60 days
Transit times are estimates and can change with carrier schedules, destination and customs clearance.
