Seasonal Buying Calendar
Buy the right goods at the right time.
| Season | Buy ahead of | Typical categories |
|---|---|---|
| Late winter to spring | Spring and summer demand | Bicycles, scooters, outdoor equipment, swimwear |
| Summer | Back to school | Apparel, shoes, electronics, bags |
| Late summer to autumn | Holiday season | Toys, games, kitchen appliances, beauty gift sets, electronics |
| Winter | Cold-weather demand | Boots, slippers, bedding, coats, heating products |
Plan to buy two to three months before peak demand so you have time to sort, test and list. Off-season goods can cost less, so storage space can pay off.
